"The members of Galaxy Class met when Chicago synth programmer Emil Hyde stumbled across a concept album based on the cult sci-fi TV show "Firefly" that Indianapolis vocalist Lauren Moore had posted online. They began passing tracks back and forth, bonding over a shared appreciation of Joss Whedon, Doctor Who, video games, The Knife, Queen, M83, and Abba. Five months later, Galaxy Class' debut EP 'Deep Magic' was completed.
