About

Started in 1995, EIC had several iterations all using generally the same lineup. At various times "EIC" allegedly stood for different things (Einstein's Illiterate Children, Evil Is Cool, Every Inch Counts...). The band dabbled in punk, grunge, and metal before ultimately landing in the burgeoning Indianapolis hardcore scene in the late 90s. The band released several EPs, the first being "The Human Genome Project" in 1997, the most notable of was "No Compromise" in 1999. In 2000 their final recording was released through Pennsylvania's Burning Records. The band mostly went their separate ways after attending different colleges, with the core of the band going on to form Jim Fix in Bloomington.
