David T James is an Indianapolis-born songwriter and musician who has been writing and recording songs since the early 2000s. Now based in Bloomington, Indiana, his work moves loosely through folk, Americana, home-recorded rock and more experimental territory, with a long-running emphasis on collaboration and DIY recording. He also owns and operates Blockhouse, a beer bar and music venue just off the square in downtown Bloomington, where he continues to write, record and play music with friends.
