The Ballad of William and Maxine is a story about our guitar player\'s grandparents who met in WW2. HIs grandfather was a tank pilot. The day before William turned 23, he stuck his head out of the tank and was shot in the head. He was in a coma and died for a moment. He woke up to a beautiful nurse, Maxine, and they have been married ever since. 65 Years. We recorded this acoustic version for DoItIndy and The Last Good Year will have a full band version on our upcoming release.
