The Audacity of Youth was the moniker for musician Joey Walker. He started making and recording music around January 2008 after he got his first guitar and microphone as birthday presents. After releasing three EPs independently, Walker joined GTB Records and released one album, Departed, in October 2012. As of January 2013, The Audacity of Youth existed no longer. However in May 2019, an archival compilation, Never Let the Dead Rest Easy, was released under Walker's label imprint Age Stasis Recordings.
