Playlist: A Short Walk #117 - 05/09/2017
Posted May 09, 2017 by Taylor Peters

  1. "Footsteps of a Fool" - Rachel Peacock (part of IN Covers)
  2. "Bummer School" - Sleeping Bag
  3. "Yo Gurl" - Harry Otaku, featuring Oreo Jones and Sharlene Birdsong
  4. "We are the Ones" - David Barajas
  5. "No Good" - CHERRYS
  6. "Impossible Days (Tell Me You Love Me)" - Girl Colors
  7. "Bring it On" - The Long Arm
  8. "The Glass Monolith" - Architecture Aviva
  9. "The Follow Up" - Dutchie Dash
  10. "Every Breakdown Has Its Genius" - The Vegetables

Hi there, friends and readers! It's me, Taylor, the playlist guy. I'm here and I'm typing a message to you and the message is about something that you can guess, easy, no hints, I promise. The message is as follows: Here is a new playlist! It has 10 great songs on it for you to enjoy!

See, that was easy to guess, right?

Anyway, this one's got some lovely new additions to the archive from CHERRYS (a band whose psychedelic out-building is taking up ever more square footage in my humble, regular kitchen and living room and I'm not sure how to deal), Dutchie Dash (a recent Indiana hip-hop transplant who spits flames like a dragon might), Harry Otaku (with an extensive new beat tape for all of us to enjoy) and several--five exactly, that is--others!

And for a little peppery after taste, I dropped two older tracks into the playlist as well this month. The first is Sleeping Bag's "Bummer School" in honor of the fact that I'm taking chemistry over the summer right now and I'm bummed about. The second is "Every Breakdown Has Its Genius" in honor of the fact that this chemistry class might make me have a breakdown before June gets here.

Keep an eye on every single new addition to our archive right here!
