I'll tell you now and I'll tell you truly: I am an art-stealing fiend. Last week's playlist artwork was bedecked by the painting of my 4-year-old nephew and this week it's from my 5-year-old niece. I'm an art fraud, stealing images off of people who are shorter than me, and I'm doing it with no regrets. My niece stuck these stickers on this bright paper and from across the room I could not even hope to ignore the bright colors. And so it is here.
The image, of course, accompanies 10 more songs from our archive. An assortment of newness from the electronic likes of HP and the country-flecked likes of Nouveaurees are joined by archive standys like Easy 6 and Who Needs You.
The playlist is a bit late this week on account of our big announcement of our new membership program yesterday. In case, through your worry about a missed playlist day, you didn't notice the fanfare, I've got you: here's a link.
Who knows, maybe next week the playlist art will feature drawings stolen from another niece or nephew. Or maybe I'll just hit up the local museum and tear something off the walls. You never know with me.
Perpetual thanks and goodwill unto Smallbox for helping to make these weekly playlists possible.
Help us spread Indiana music, and we'll give you special rewards as our way of saying "thanks!"
