Busted outta bed at 5:50am this morning so I could have time to throw some fixins in the crock pot for a bean stew tonight before I left to go do my civic duty and vote for Herman Cain. It was still dark out when I got to the public school that doubled as my polling location. I ran in to my sister-in-law because we're neighbors. After that I got some coffee and went to work early.
All of this was far too adult for my tastes, but it had to be done. So now I'm sitting at work, writing about a playlist on company time. And the playlist, it's chock full of tunes the junior high me--the one who thought my morning was too adult--would've loved. These songs are loud. These songs are rad.
Stay tuned next week for more playlists and more running narratives about me struggling with the process of getting older.
Thanks, as ever, to Smallbox for their generous support of these paylists!
Help us spread Indiana music, and we'll give you special rewards as our way of saying "thanks!"
