Playlist: A Short Walk #21 - 03/06/2015
Posted March 06, 2015 by Taylor Peters

  1. "Scout the Location" - Sedcairn Archives
  2. "Good Will Hunting" - John Stamps
  3. "Bus Driver" - Vacation Club
  4. "CIRCA 88" - Flaco (MFT Preservation Series)
  5. "Playground" - Andy D
  6. "Leonardo Da Vinci" - AG Tha Pharoah
  7. "SAND" - NordicBrides
  8. "As Always" - Jimmy Infinity
  9. "Shattered" - InCalico
  10. "Acid Breaks #2 (Rough Test)" - Special K & the 6-Step

Big playlist number 21, coming in faster than you could've predicted. 21 playlists means we've got three solid weeks of ten-song playlists curated by your boy me. For various arcane reasons that I can't really put my finger on, it seems super fitting that today of all days, on this playlist of all playlists, I've got the pleasure of telling you about the upcoming Good Luck in Your Dreams tour featuring Bored., the buds from Ghost Gun Summer, and Sedcairn Archives.

The tour, which will take the fellas down through Georgia and Florida and then pop right up in Austin for SXSW, kicks off next Monday, March 9 at the Hi-Fi. The Ghost Gun Summer crew (including Freddie Bunz, Oreo Jones, Sirius Blvck, John Stamps, and Ace One), Bored., and Sedcairn Archives will be joined by Vacation Club and Andy D. The party starts at 8pm and it's five bucks.

In the interest of sending them off in style, we've got an extra special video premiere up in this blog post. It's a chopped, jittering, and screwed piece for "Continue Drilling" by Sedcairn Archives. Make sure you're all strapped in and watch it several times above.

In addition to the tour jams, playlist number 21 has some straight fire from AG Tha Pharoah, whacked buzz from south of Sun City Girls from Nordic Brides, rock, rock, rock, from Jimmy Infinity and InCalico, and some grooving craziness from Special K & the 6-Step (who you might otherwise know as Kaiton Slusher). It's a good one this week, don't miss out.
