Tilford Sellers And The Wagon Burners, based in Bloomington, Indiana play straight-up original Honky Tonk dance tunes and Hillbilly Boogie. It is true country with a little Bakersfield Sound and Western Swing. Go through Tilford Sellers’ swinging doors and find honky tonk so muddy you’re bound to lose your boots.  Tilford and his band play cheating songs that won’t make you cry. Songs of lament waiting for Saturday night and songs that are slightly retro with an occasional hiccup.  Their tunes embody the spirit of dancing, drinking, love gained and love lost.  Their second record, a full-length of originals, “Heartaches, Lies, and Cheating Songs” was released in March 2012. Since its release, they have been busy touring from Kansas City to North Carolina and Michigan to Florida. Their first record “What You’re Doing To Me,” released in June, 2011 received very positive reviews including a spot on www.nodepression.com.
