Third is a folk band, founded in Anderson, Indiana, by three friends, Dawson Vosburg, Kayla Cange, and David Franks. Inspired by old and new acoustic music movements, Third creates a complex, mystical sound deeply rooted in the Midwest. With their debut album, Kid Up, Third endeavors to explore the nature of childhood and how where you were raised impacts the person you are. These questions are enveloped in forests and rivers of acoustic melody and vocal harmony.
