Recorded from 2002-2003, these are the unmastered (some unfinished) recordings for an intended album. The Hidden Persuaders began as a side project of The Playthings (1996-2002 Lawrence, Kansas; Tim Brown, Jenny Hart, Kenneth B. Gall of Danger Bob). The band broke up in 2003 before the recordings were completed. A video was filmed by Toby Stoner for "Auto Mechanic" on the grounds of the old airport in Austin, Texas.
