Really three bands with one name that was shamelessly stolen from Pat Spurgeon who told Simon that he always thought the name of his first car would be a great band name. Simon, Josh and Finn thought so too and applied it to their recording project. The band dissapated and Simon Moved to New Orleans. When he moved back Josh approached him about forming a "drone" band with friends Tony and Daniel. When a name couldn't be thought of for the new band Josh and Simon once again decided to steal Pat's name. That band called it quits, Simon moved to Portland Oregon, Josh moved to Chicago and the name was put to rest again. Third times a charm though and Josh has carried on Satellite 66 in varying line ups since moving to Chicago. The band released an EP called Grasshopper in 2004 and more recent songs are streaming on their myspace page.
