Running the gamut through many of rock ‘n roll’s greatest genres, The Sacred Broncos combine surf, punk, 60’s psychedelia and garage rock to make something uniquely their own. Hailing from Fort Wayne, Indiana it is easy to hear the blue-collar angst of Iggy and The Stooges, and MC5 in The Sacred Broncos’ sound but through their unique style, the band has seamlessly infuses the sounds of other groups such as Dinosaur Jr., Violent Femmes, Sonic Youth, Black Lips and The White Stripes. January 2010 marked the release of the band’s first full length album “Fish As Friends” and a 7 inch “Dont Mind /// Lions” was released the following summer, both of which created a significant buzz not only in the region, but overseas as well.
