Ross E Martinie Eiler is a hand-hammering, key-slamming, rock’n’boogie piano man.
Ross Martinie Eiler has headlined 1950s-themed theater shows around the country, including Piano-Pumping Rock’n’Roll (produced by Lonely Street Productions – AZ) and The Birth of Rock’n’Roll (produced by One Pulse Productions – IN). He was named one of the “Best Rock’n’Roll Musicians in Southern Indiana†by the Bloomington Herald-Times. He has shared a stage with many fine musicians including Ray Charles, Bob Seeley, Carl “Sonny†Leyland, Marcia Ball, Jenn Cristy, Robert Shaw, Eddie Clendening, Michael Monroe Goodman, Durand Jones and David LaSuertmer.
He currently plays with Martinie’s Boogie Three (Joe Donnelly – saxophone, John Valdez – drums). Martinie’s Boogie Three explores the rock’n’roll side of blues & boogie-woogie piano and celebrates the high-energy dance music of the 1950s. It’s a flurry of bounce that combines original works with crowd-pleasers by Louis Jordan, Fats Domino, Little Richard, Ray Charles & Jerry Lee Lewis.
