Started out with Thrash/Punk band Maxim Xul in 1998 (later Rejected M-X). Played mostly all-ages gigs around the central Indiana area. Went solo with the Mykal Xul Project in 2002. Ceased all live activity in 2004. Released several demos, cd-rs before hooking up with Gulcher Records to release "Gizmo My Way: Unsung Anthems of Ken Highland & The Gizmos" in 2006, then "Johnson County Line" in 2008. Released "The First Ten Years 2003-2013" compilation, & "The Passions" EP via Bandcamp. A new album, "Private Parts In Public Places" was released in October 2015.
