Indianapolis singer-songwriter Michael Buratto released his debut EP, "So Be Careful What You Pretend To Be" in 2014 to both critical and commercial acclaim - the free EP was one of the top downloads through its exclusive distributor Noisetrade.com. Falling in line with the EP's title, Buratto's self-recorded songs portray stark, Vonnugutian character studies of heroes, villains, and everything in between, over other-worldly beds of tortured guitars, fuzzed out synths and cavernous drums. The former drummer for Indianapolis buzz band Win With Willard, Buratto recorded and mixed the record in his own studio, Corporate Recording & Hi-Fi. He will release his debut full length, produced by John Vanderslice, in spring of 2015.
