Okay, okay. Tom Youngjohn is Joe Christian and Jack Laotian.
As I Wash The Feet was written by and is owned by Tom Youngjohn, who paid Hill Top Records in California $500 to professionally record it. The singer at Hill Top Records was Cody Lions. They did a freaking amazing job, didn't they?
Now for the bad news. I'm a born again Christian. Adventist. My Christian and Adventist friends won't like this, but I'll be recording a few more "Buddhisht" songs in the future. You see, I didn't get my "imaginary" friend, Jesus, didn't become born again, until I had already written some 60 or so Buddhist songs. Yes. Sixty.
Now, if my kids can't be Christian and know the Dharma, or if they can't even just be Christian, (second choice), then at the very least I want to introduce them to the Buddhisht Dhamma, the "Dharma." No gods to worship, but some marvelous psychological truths. So, if my Christian friends have to kick me out of the fold, so be it. I'll still have my imaginary friend who will always be there for me. Now here is the good news. For my Buddhist friends, well. think of my imaginary friend as the one attachment that I have no intention of letting go of.
