Originally from Brazil (the country, not the town in Clay County, IN), The Gypsy Vanner relocated to Indianapolis in the Spring of 2015. The sound draws from a variety of influences that range from Mark Lanegan and Duke Garwood, to Junior Kimbrough and Son House. Although a one-man project, The Gypsy Vanner seeks the collaboration of other musicians.
