Dustin has been part of the Muncie and Indiana music scenes off and on since his first band, NewCleaR began playing local and regional shows back in 2001. He is a guitarist, but has filled many roles in different bands, which lead naturally to working as a solo musician. He has been writing songs since 1996. He is inspired by a wide variety of bands and musicians, such as The Beatles, Elliott Smith, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Mars Volta, Ween, Sleep Party People, Nick Drake, Sean Lennon, and Radiohead, just to name a few. He has performed in bands such as NewCleaR, Black Cloud Theory, If Anything, Gentleman's Wager, Stars To Satellites, and Beyond The Grid.
