Donnie is a Chicago Folk singer/songwriter. He spent two summers in Bloomington, IN with no entertainment besides his guitar, Bob Dylan cd's and a Bob Dylan Poster. After staring at the poster for two years, he finally began writing his own music and bought a set of harmonica's this past January. He has written more than a collection of songs and he feels that he writes songs that all males and females can relate to. But he is also trying to write about the America of today.
He feels as if America has not been poorly portrayed for most of his life and has started to put those thoughts to paper. So don't just listen to the songs he's written, but listen to the words that he is saying and find the meaning to which you, yourself, discover within the song. He is a firm believer that everyone is unique in their own way and everyone expresses it and discovers their talents differently.
