In 2009, Brian Johnson and David Allen joined up for what was supposed to be a one-night-only performance, but found out they had more in common than a mutual love of Bruce Springsteen. Soon they were hauling acoustic guitars around town and busking on street corners as the bars let out each night. Joined by bassist Connor Andrei and drummer AJ Emerling, they formed The Acquitted. Understanding what it takes to tell a damn good story and get the feet stomping at the same time, they have been making their name traveling through the Midwest and opening for national touring acts. Cold Friday, their debut album, was released in 2010. Songs born of love, sadness, and the power of music, The Acquitted's Cold Friday has been sold internationally, songs from which have been played on radio stations domestically and in the UK.
