About: | Formed in the winter of 93 out of the ashes of the Gerunds. Following their demise, PJ Christie, Michelle Marchessault and LonPaul Ellrich played with a number of people to try to find some chemistry, but it wasn't until playing with Marty Green, a high school friend of PJ's and fellow art school student of Michelle, that we hit upon a Farmula of cool music and creativity. We wrote a lot of songs and played a lot of shows until Marty left the band shortly before their first full length record. The band continued on writing and touring with Greg Backus, Bill Cameron, and for a brief period the late Fred Goldfine, but never recorded a proper follow up. We tried.- PJ Christie. |

Nurse Mike is a shadowy and infmaous character from the Bloomington side of Sardina's duality. Late nights he would hold large groups of impressionable young minds in rapt attention as he espoused his theories on Egyptian numerology, disrupted neural pathways, and muscle tees. As cassettes flowed easily through this loose affiliation, Nurse Mike began compiling a secret stash of unreleased tracks as it were. We loved him so much we named one of the Chicago litter of kittens after him. Nurse Mike the cat ate another cat and impregnated his mother.
