IN Covers: Caldwell/Tester take on Marmoset
Posted February 28, 2017 by Sharlene Birdsong

The end of February brings another song from IN Covers. This tune was recorded by Caldwell/Tester and features a full-length music video!

Caldwell/Tester bring all the hiss and dreamy vocals that you would expect from the self-proclaimed "Tape Glam"  artists. Their cover of Marmoset's "Golden Cloak" takes the indie rock jam to another level as Tester  and Caldwell do their best Jorma impersonation. Chris Fry brings us the music video with plenty of static VHS vibes, which perfectly mirror the electronic noise in the recording. Well done, cats!

Catch Landon Caldwell next month,  March 23, at State Street Pub, and May 11 with Ty Segall at the Irving Theater.
