New video and campaign: Become a MFT supporter!

Today marks the beginning of MFT's new campaign urging you to become a "MFT Supporter." The above video is all about who we are, what we do, and why it matters. It includes lots of awesome, talented members of the Indiana music community offering their thoughts on local music and MFT's mission ("spreading Indiana music").

Please share on social media, and tell everyone you know about the video, especially if they don't already know about MFT or the long-running awesomeness of Indiana's underground music scenes.

Here's what we want the world to know: since becoming a 501c3 nonprofit organization last year, Musical Family Tree belongs to you now. Yes you.

Maybe you've been in the Indiana music community for decades, or maybe you are just getting involved. Either way, if you are an Indiana musician or a musician who used to live in Indiana, this site, this organization, and the things that we do are for you.

If you're not a musician and just happen to love Indiana music, MFT is also for you. We're giving you so much access to great Indiana music, you could listen to all Indiana music for the rest of your life and probably never get bored.

In fact, even if you've never heard any Indiana music and aren't an Indiana musician, we're for you too! This state is full of underrated musical treasures and has been for decades. We know that many people from outside the state may not think of Indiana being a great place for all different kinds of music, but it definitely is, and we're working to change people's perceptions about the great art being made here.

And since this organization belongs to you and is dedicated to doing good work in our community, we'd love for you to get more involved by becoming a MFT Supporter, at whatever level you'd like.

Why?

We provide curated content, a free online archive, events, releases, volunteer opportunities, and meaningful work for people in our state. We provide resources for artists, and we welcome all Indiana musicians making original music to be part of what we're doing. MFT has already changed the lives of many, and we hope to continue to build a more sustainable and world-recognized music scene in Indiana!

Please consider becoming a MFT Supporter by giving a one-time donation or a recurring monthly donation. Helping this great organization continue and increase our work in the community is as simple as visiting the donate page and giving any amount you want (you don't even need a paypal account to do it!).

Thank you for your support, and again, please help share this video with as many people as you can! We need your help more than ever, and we believe in you. Find even more info about MFT here.
