About

Uno Moss is nylon steel harmony.  Folk music for all folk.

When Peter moved to Bloomington from Cleveland in 2006 he found himself in a little house called the Dreamachine on the corner of Dodds and Farirview in McDoel Gardens.  His old buddy Chris Barth, with whom he had played previously in the Impossible Shapes, introduced him to their third roommate Vince. Vince had a group, too, called The Petty Officers who had played in Bloomington for a while.  It turned out that Peter and Vince were born just 5 days apart in 1981.  Coincidence?  Probably.  But it only took a few weeks before the two chaps realized that they had something special when they played their acoustic guitars together and harmonized their tenor voices.  Songs came quickly and times were good. They put out a few CD's covered in felt, painted, and stamped. The first one was green and called The Slow Rise & Hard Fall. The second was NEW and red in color.  They played shows in Bloomington, Indianapolis, Nashville, Columbus, Brenton's Grandma's farm, and Chicago.  Times were good.  Very good.  Four years passed. It was now 2010.  Vince had moved to Pennsylvania, Peter to Indianapols... Uno Moss now resides in the stratosphere.

Plans are in the works to re-release all their complete discography on one CD on Friends and Relatives Records.
