About:
Your Neighbors formed in October 1991 and began playing shows around Northwest Indiana. Front Porch Music in Valparaiso was very supportive of the band in the early years. Their first cassette, Fish Opera, was released in 1992. In 1993, the bad released another cassette, Bi-Phase, and then later re-released this album on CD. During this time, the band held self-promoted shows in Valparaiso, and began performing in Chicago, and throughout central ...  read more

 2012, Boo-Sheet Records,

For a few months in early 1994, Your Neighbors hosted a weekly "jam night" at the Horsehead Saloon in rural Roselawn, Indiana. Traditionally, jam nights begin with the host group performing a short set made up of mostly cover songs. To the audience's dismay, Your Neighbors would normally perform an all original set that usually featured at least one lengthy, improvisational section. On this night, the group did perform a crowd-pleasing cover,  "Crosstown Traffic" by Jimi Hendrix. Audiophiles will note a persistent 60-cycle hum and odd buzzing sounds throughout the duration of the recording. Such noises were common to live music performance in the 1990s.

Not sure when it was, but I do remember that Drake was already way ahead of the curve on this new tight jeans trend. Like 20 years ahead of his time.

I think we actually started the band in 1991.
