The Scraps (Bloomington, current) formed in early 2007. A fire destroyed all their equipment shortly thereafter and Chama's hand was smashed in a machine press shortly after that. Ever perserverant and tenacious, they continue(d) to write socially conscious punk rock. The Scraps have contributed music to the local Bloomington Roller Derby league and released their first album "The Sacred Right of Property" in 2008. Mike Emmett, Chama Henry and Chris Abert have performed throughout southern Indiana and hope to record another collection of songs in the future.

2008,
Recorded in 2008 at Russian Recordings by Mike Notaro, The Sacred Right of Property is the first effort by The Scraps. The album is available for purchase through iTunes

In the spring of 2009, The Scraps had the privelege of performing on WFHB's program Local Live. Many great performances are available at their website here: www.wfhb.org/music/locallive
