I'm actually the songwriter of "The Purdue Song"...un-credited I am certain by the Knievals...I used to be in another band w/ their bass player...when I wrote the song.

I initially meant the song to use every possible piece of negative information (real or not) about Purdue and to craft the song in such a way as to not completely piss off the students there. It worked pretty well that way when we traveled to W. Lafayette to play it the first time(s). Glad to hear all the changes about the female population out there in Purdue-land since then.

Love this band. Especially Roll, Roll, Roll. But I'll ignore "The Purdue Song" because even though I'm from South Bend & I go to Purdue, I do not look like a sheep, and I'm definitely not here to become an engineer. (Side note: The female population here is considerably better-looking and much larger in number now compared to years past. Don't knock it 'til you've tried it. =)
