Steven Dunn started playing music when he took his first piano lesson in kindergarten. After many years, and forgetting most of his piano lessons, Steven has finally made his own impact on the music scene as an independent singer/songwriter. He slides apart from the indie standard of fashion and song style providing melodic music that’s heart felt. Starting his first solo project at the beginning of this year, Steven has performed across the Midwest. With the help of his friends Steven self-produced his first album Awaken EP. Awaken EP has received great acclaim like that of Cary Fields, Fields of Bluegrass Radio Hour, “[the song] Summertime is marvelous!” Steven is balancing going to school, organizing shows, and interning at a local recording studio, Midwest Audio Recording. Steven draws inspiration for his music from friends and family, but ultimately from the beautiful life around him. So, come check out his shows and maybe you’ll inspire his next song.
