Shxps (pronounced Shops) is a Music Producer, DJ, and Graphic Artist based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. He first started his career in making music during his early high school years and innovated his sound since then. Shxps's musical genres in production include Hip Hop, Trap, House, Electro, Future Bass, and Ambient. His influences in his musical tastes and production come from Daft Punk, Kanye West, A-Trak, Odd Future, Flying Lotus, and Toro y Moi. Shxps has a passion for making candy-coated, chord heavy music which has given him a style people can recognize. Along with making music, Shxps creates graphic art and does photography. Most of his visual art is minimal, colorful, and done digitally. The focal point for most of his art projects focuses around geometric shapes and numbers. Shxps other influences come from Japanese pop culture, Los Angeles night life, and Vaporwave music.

Shxps's real name is Kiefer Summers. He was born in Los Angeles California in 1995. Kiefer currently resides in Indianapolis but will soon be moving to Bloomington, Indiana to pursue music and his degree in telecommunications at Indiana University.
