Punk Rock Funeral is a Bloomington based basement band that began recording in 2004. Kestrel Hawk is the primary songwriter with contributions by Kieth Gordon on drums for the Helicopter Tuesday release (2004-Scrap Metal Studios). Unfortunately the collaboration dissolved shortly after Helicopter Tuesday when Kieth moved out of the Bloomington/Indy area. K Hawk continues to record feverishly with the hope that a new partnership will explode onto the Indie scene featuring a raw, fresh sound that make will make rock and roll fun and cool again.

the lyric for "innocence" is excerpted/corrupted from the wonderful adolescent book The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chobsky.
I wrote and recorded this the best I could at the time thinking it'd be redone with a skilled drummer.
it begins; preliminary sketches. During this time many many songs were written on the porch on College Avenue in Indy. There was a temporal/realty shift...I imagined myself being famous and recorded all the time under various "names"
to name a few. These are the songs that have to date been stored digitally. yeah, I know.
