otto started out way back in 1980 with the Slammies, they did many shows with the Zero Boys and Repellents, and have 3 songs on The Master Tape album... next was the Primates , voted in 1985 by Indianapolis Monthly Mag, as Punk Band of the Year .. the Primates were made from 2 slammies & 3 repellents, ... in 1990 the Slammies did a few 10 year re-union shows , 3 original Slammies with Cpt Steele - Joint Jumpers ,, and Pratt - Drunko etc. in 2002 , otto starts comedy quest , Sells Out Cracker's on day # 87 now otto is commonly know as otto the comic, doing 300 shows a year, as a comedian / solo / act / coffee shop / family event specialist. / and band in december of 2007 , otto & the Gear Heads have first show,, rapper on bass , corey on drums.. rock-a-comedilly , short funny Rockin songs ,, gearheads do 8 shows in 2008 New Years Eve 2007 Slammies re-form, with metzger from pizzle / Helen Sheilds , blow place to pieces.. do 5 shows in 2008 , get nominated for Local Punk band of year @ punk rock night .!!! oct 2008 , otto gets invited to Broad Ripple Music Festival as musician
