As far as our collective journey as a band, it's a fairly short story. In our past lives we were hunter-gatherers in the steppes of the Russian highlands, eking out our existence in the ferret and ground-squirrel trade. Then, inevitably, we died. As it were, Gregg was the first reborn, due to a previous contract with dark forces that pre-ordained his return to Earth. Needless to say, we weren't happy being resurrected as common musicians and storytellers. But, because you and the rest of the lowly people are so easily entertained, it became an obvious choice to rule above you all.
