Guitar, Bass, Keyboards, Recording, Vocals. Originally from South Bend Indiana. Began recording at age 12 in parent's basement. Purchased a 4 track at 17. Played in various South Bend bands including Neo Elvis Trash, Staple Guns (early), Kadath, Meathead and the Tapeworm and others with Simon Hanstad, Tony Leonardo, Lance Drake, Mike Henry, Greg Backus, Doug Shawhan, JT Kelly, Jason Thomas and others. Later moved to Bloomington in 1996. Lived in Collins dorm the same year as Jason Yoder, Finn Swingley, Josh Seib, Carl Broemel and others. Was a member of many bands, some short lived, including (in order somewhat); Sleeve (w/Josh, Finn and Sam), Soda Jerks (w/Josh, Finn and Jon), Brando (early versions with Nate, Josh, Finn and Derek), Special Machine (w/ Lance Drake and Greg Backus), Staple Guns (w/Josh, Finn and various drummers including Eric Peters and Pat Spurgeon) and Gummy Mummies (w/ Josh, Finn, Simon Hanstad and others). Worked at rock club 2nd Story for about 2 years in 1995-6 booking shows, working the door and being the janitor. Moved to Chicago in late 1996 to live with PJ Christie, Bill Cameron, Brendan Sullivan, Tina Matlock and Marji Boyles in the Southside ballroom known as La Zona. Formed Admiral Stereo and the Phantom Third Channel with PJ, Tina, Marji and neighbor/friend Joe Ryan. Also began recording early Winechugger's demos. Moved to Indianapolis with the idea of playing with Michelle, Bill Cameron (who relocated there a little later to finish school), Lon Paul (where he lived), Vess Ruhtenberg and the many musicians living there at the time. Formed Easy 6 with Michelle, Mindy Briggs, Bill Cameron, Ben Shine and Vess. This band expired around 1999 with Michelle and Mindy moving to Austin Texas shortly thereafter. Formed "The No Name Band" with Jason Yoder, Finn and Josh around 2000. Recording centered around Jssh's Basement at Leanne Maxwell's and the studio space at Tim and Billy's old place downtown. Worked with Bill Cameron for a Winechuggers EP that was released in 2001 and a full length album to be released in 2005. Other projects included with June Panic for Secretly Canadian, Melk The G-69, Brando and others. Currently in the Humans with Chris Duggan and Jake Petroff.
