God Made Robots is a quirky, nerdy pop-rock unit that plays in a vein somewhere between the Flaming Lips and the Pixies. It was formed by guitarist Brian Petersen (Extra Blue Kind) and bassist s.Jane Mills (Glitter Bombs) in Indianapolis, beginning late 2007. They were soon joined by drummer Randee Eimer (Extra Blue Kind), and from there began to form the band's identity. Together they recorded Username and Password, two 5-song EPs produced by David Jablonski of Marmoset. GMR is currently preparing to write and record a new full-length album, aimed for release in late spring 2011.
We like robots and making music.
