They decided to start a band named after their favorite actor and with Eddie Deezen's blessing, the band was formed. Original lineup was Doomtone, Rev. Dan, and Andy Fark. After a 7 year hiatus, the band reformed with a revolving door of local talent. Members of the Dirty Little Secrets, the Jabs, Creeping Charlie, and the Jeanie Jeans (Twinkle Van Winkle from Oxford, Mississippi). The band's final and current lineup just kinda fell together. Darwin Layne (Rocket From the Tombs bassist) and Miss Cupcake (Negative Trend Zine & bands Wait til Wednesday/Seamstress Scavengers) joined up and brought a whole new breath of fresh air into DEEZEN. When deciding to add an organ into the mix, Eddie "Home Run" Rippy (Aztec Kotex from The Dockers/Wookie Leaf/Order of the Black Hand) slid right on in. The band has become a juggernaut in the local scene and are looking for some fun.
