Blind Uncle Harry specializes in self defined hillbilly hippie folk rock. They are particularly well known for their raucous live shows with audience sing alongs and 20 minute plus jams. Their previous singles "Christmas Day in Australia" and “Dopesmokers of the World Unite and Take Over” from their 2015 critically acclaimed debut album Visualize Industrial Collapse received airplay on a number of college radio stations in the US and Australia.

Notorious for being the only performer ever banned by the Indiana University Union Board for referring to the venue operator Starbucks as Starfucks, and encouraging the audience to substitute singing “Burn Down the High School” with “Burn Down the Kelley School of Business”, Blind Uncle Harry is reminiscent of Todd Snider’s alt country songs, with the political satire and bite of Billy Bragg. Short of Snoop Dogg, nobody has more references and songs celebrating weed. Playing with the full band, they remind a lot of people of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes. Although, to our knowledge, none of those groups nearly caused an entire floor to collapse, as Blind Uncle Harry did during a performance of "Jesus is Comin' in a Rat Turd" at Bloomington's legendary 201 S. Washington house show venue. Blind Uncle Harry has toured around America and played 20 plus West Coast shows during the summer of 2016.
