In case anyone is interested, I did manage to find the entire 'There's a new sheriff' E.P on Apple Music. Found that it's much easier to find searching for the Album/EP name rather than the bands name.

The band split in 2007, with its members going on to form the bands We Are Hex (Jill, Brandon) and Thunders (Ryan, Mark).

Whatever happened to ari ari? I had just gotten exposed to them back in MySpace era when suddenly it seemed there was a concerted effort to delete them from existence.

I loved ari ari. Ryans guitar parts were so awesome and Brandons drumming just made it really intense. Jill and Mark were also awesome in filling out the sound.
