Amo Joy is an indie-psych-pop group from Indianapolis, IN.  Amo Joy started as a side project of Adam Gross in 2006 but over the years developed into somewhat of a collective of people with three members at its core.  Adam Gross (guitar, vocals, woodwinds, keys),  Steve Trowbridge (drums, vocals, keys)  and the late Paul Cobb (bass, vocals, keys)  have been the driving factors behind each of the bands releases while contributing members (Ben Leslie, James Furness, Guy Wulfing, Alison Pitt and Nic Leatherman) have all been integral parts of the band at certain points in time.  Since 2006 Amo Joy has released 4 full length records on vinyl, cassette and CD as well as a number of limited edition hand-made tour only cassettes, CDs and lathe cut records.  Some of these albums have been self released while others have been released nationally by Standard Recording Co. of Indianapolis IN,  People in a Position to Know Recordings of Olympia WA and Roal Rhino Flying Records of Morgantown WV.
